On the morning of September 29, the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission held a scientific workshop on "Improving the quality of handling petitions by Inspection Commissions at all levels in the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee".

Identifying the work of receiving and handling petitions as an important task, in recent times, the Inspection Committees at all levels have focused on classifying, receiving, reviewing and handling them to ensure compliance with Party regulations and State laws. Thereby, reflecting to Party committees at all levels on the implementation of Party policies and laws by cadres and Party members. The authorities have reviewed and handled a number of outstanding cases and violations by Party organizations and Party members, contributing to strengthening the people's trust in the Party and organizations in the political system.

However, the work of receiving and processing petitions in the past still has some difficulties and problems such as: reception and processing in some places is still confusing, there is no suitable method; the process of receiving and processing petitions in units is not unified; there is still a situation of prolonged processing time... Therefore, in practice, improving the quality of petition processing is an important and necessary task.

The delegate said that, in addition to strengthening propaganda and raising awareness among cadres, party members and people about the rights and obligations of complainants and denouncers, the Inspection Committee at all levels needs to do a good job of coordinating in receiving and handling petitions; the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee should soon issue regulations on receiving and handling petitions of the Inspection Committee at all levels; strengthen professional training for cadres working in receiving and handling petitions of the Inspection Committee of the grassroots party committee; strictly implement regulations on keeping the whistleblower confidential...

On that basis, the specialized document "Improving the quality of handling petitions and letters of the Inspection Committee at all levels in the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee" will be developed and compiled to ensure quality, suitability to reality, and contribute to the good performance of the functions and tasks of the Inspection Committee at all levels in the coming time.
