Improve product quality based on science and technology

In the context of integration and the strong development of the 4.0 industrial revolution, many enterprises in the province have proactively innovated and actively invested in science and technology (S&T) to modernize production processes, improve labor quality and product value.

Applying modern equipment in production contributes to increasing the value of products at Hong Duc Educational Equipment Joint Stock Company.

With the goal of "High productivity, quality, efficiency, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene", in recent times, with great efforts and determination, Hong Duc Educational Equipment Joint Stock Company has applied modern machinery and equipment to production such as: Central processing machines, 6-head CNC cutting machines, automatic edge banding machines, 6-head drilling machines, automatic panel machines, automatic welding robots... Electrostatic painting lines; CNC industrial wood furniture processing machine lines. Along with that, the company also put into use 1C ERP business management software to operate all production and business activities, from receiving orders to delivery, payment documents related to raw materials and customers. From the application of science and technology to production, it has contributed to improving productivity, quality, reducing costs, and improving product quality. Thanks to that, from the beginning of 2024 until now, the company's revenue has reached more than 30 billion VND, reaching the plan and growing about 15% compared to 2023.

In order to improve productivity, quality and economic efficiency in agricultural production, in recent years, Thanh Hoa province has implemented many policies to attract and create favorable conditions for enterprises to invest and develop production and business in the agricultural sector. Since then, the province's agriculture has changed, gradually shifting from small-scale production to concentrated, large-scale production, applying high technology.

Luu Suong Trading Company Limited (Ha Long Commune, Ha Trung) is a pioneer in investing in high-tech agriculture. After more than 10 years of development, the company has always been accompanied and supported by the local government and people. Currently, the company has developed two typical local rice varieties: Tien Son areca nut sticky rice in Ha Linh Commune and Gia Mieu golden flower sticky rice for the king in Ha Long Commune, achieving provincial-level OCOP products. At the same time, building a rice milling and processing factory, linking production with processing and consumption of products in a chain from fully automatic and semi-automatic lines, from drying fresh rice, preserving, processing to packaging finished products. In particular, the company cooperates with organizations and scientists to preserve and restore precious rice varieties in production linkages and other pure rice varieties such as ST24, ST25, Bac Thom... meeting VietGAP standards. The operation of the rice milling and processing factory, as well as the expansion of production areas linked with farmers, has formed a value chain of high-quality goods.

Tien Son Group has continuously invested in modern equipment and machinery, contributing to improving product quality.

As a business operating in the garment industry, Tien Son Group Joint Stock Company currently has 3 garment factories for export in Yen Dinh, Thach Thanh districts and Bim Son town with over 2,000 workers. The company is currently a strategic garment processing partner in Vietnam of major fashion brands in the world. To meet quality requirements, Tien Son Group has continuously invested in modern equipment and machinery for production stages such as automatic diagram drawing machines, automatic cutting and sewing machines, fabric spreading machines, hemming machines, fabric inspection machines, fabric winches, etc. In addition, the company always focuses on training a team of skilled and technical workers. The application of high technology and automatic technology in the process of use has helped products minimize risks and errors due to workers' operations, improving product quality.

Thanh Hoa currently has more than 21 thousand enterprises, including 31 enterprises and 1 branch of science and technology enterprises (ranked 3rd nationwide after Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City). Currently, science and technology enterprises of the province operate in many fields: industrial - agricultural production, medical equipment - supplies, trade and services, information technology... These are pioneers in research, application of science and technology in management and operation; creating high-quality products; good customer care services. The activities of enterprises always clearly demonstrate a dynamic and creative spirit, knowing how to make the most of opportunities to expand production and business, promote business linkages, and enhance competitiveness in the market. It can be seen that, along with the efforts of enterprises, currently, sectors and localities in the province are focusing on implementing many accompanying solutions, removing difficulties for production and business activities of enterprises. This is an important basis for promoting socio-economic growth in localities, with the goal of establishing about 15,000 new enterprises or more and gradually improving the quality and efficiency of business operations in the 2021-2025 period.

In the coming time, the Department of Science and Technology will encourage high-tech manufacturing and processing enterprises to establish research departments and scientific and technological organizations in enterprises to innovate technological lines, apply new scientific and technological advances to serve production, business, and enterprise development. At the same time, it will facilitate research activities, transfer of scientific and technological results, contributing to improving productivity and quality of goods based on the foundation of science and technology.
