Doctors from the Orthopedic Trauma Department of the Central Highlands General Hospital performed surgery to remove the left wrist, half of the right hand, and treat the wounds on the patient's body.

After surgery, the patient gradually regained consciousness and was able to eat and drink, but was still dizzy and in a lot of pain. According to the patient's family, D. was seriously injured by a firecracker and was taken to a lower-level hospital for emergency treatment, then transferred to the Central Highlands General Hospital.

Also according to the leader of the Central Highlands General Hospital, last night (January 25), the hospital received and treated a child patient named HNA (2 years old, residing in Ea Na commune, Krong Ana district, Dak Lak) who was injured with suspected firearms.

The patient was admitted to the hospital at 8:30 p.m. on January 25, in a comatose, agitated state, with a wound in the chest, a foreign object blocking the radiopaque area of ​​the right lung... The hospital diagnosed the patient with a penetrating chest wound suspected to be caused by a firearm causing respiratory failure.

The patient's family said that at around 7:00 p.m. on January 25, they heard a loud explosion and then saw baby HNA lying in the yard so they took her to the hospital for emergency care.
