Vietnam National Administration of Tourism said that total revenue from tourists in 2024 is estimated at about 840 trillion VND.


On January 7, information from the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism said that the number of international tourists to Vietnam in December 2024 reached 1,747,240, an increase of 2.1% compared to November 2024, an increase of 27.4% compared to the same period in 2023. The total number of international visitors in 2024 reached 17,583,901, an increase of 39.5% compared to the same period in 2023.

The largest international tourist markets include: Korea, China, USA, Cambodia, India, Japan, Malaysia, Australia...

Markets with increased visitor numbers compared to November 2024 are: Laos (up 107%), Sweden (up 69%), Norway (up 37%), Singapore (up 30%), Cambodia (up 28%), Indonesia (up 17%), Australia (up 16%), China (up 14%), South Korea (up 9%)...

Markets with a decrease in the number of visitors compared to November 2024 are: Spain (down 41%), Belgium (down 30%), France (down 27%), Poland (down 25%), Italy (down 23%), Japan (down 22%), Netherlands (down 22%), Canada (down 21%), Germany (down 20%), Switzerland (down 17%)...

The number of domestic tourists in December 2024 is estimated at about 5.0 million, of which about 3.3 million are staying. The cumulative number of domestic tourists in 2024 is estimated at about 110.0 million.
