(QNO) - This morning, January 8, the People's Committee of Thang Binh district held a conference to assess the socio-economic development situation, ensure security and national defense in 2023 and deploy a number of tasks on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024.
In 2023, the total production value of Thang Binh's economic sectors will reach 11,147 billion VND, reaching 100.73% of the annual plan, up 9.12% compared to 2022. Average income per capita will reach 50.8 million VND.
Total budget revenue reached 1,513 billion VND, exceeding 19.78% of the district's assigned estimate and 36.46% of the province's assigned estimate; of which economic revenue was 425 billion VND. Total budget expenditure was 1,426 billion VND, exceeding 16.55% of the district's assigned estimate.
Thang Binh district organizes many activities to attract and stimulate tourism such as the Coastal Culture - Sports Festival, the Ba Cho Duoc procession festival, and community tourism in Cua Khe village. The whole district still has 1,269 poor households (rate of 2.27%), a decrease of 128 households compared to 2022, reaching 256% of the district's target and 246% of the province's target.
Regarding the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin, Thang Binh district said it will organize well the visits and transfer of subsidies and Tet gifts to beneficiaries in a timely and complete manner.
