Muong Ang meets with Party cell secretaries, village chiefs, and residential group leaders in the area

At the meeting, delegates were informed about the socio-economic situation, national defense - security, Party building and political system in the district in 2023. Currently, Muong Ang District Party Committee has 42 branches and grassroots Party Committees; 198 Party cells directly under the grassroots Party Committee with a total of over 3,200 Party members. Muong Ang's economy is increasingly prosperous: The value of agricultural, forestry and fishery production reached over 584 billion VND; industry - construction reached nearly 510 billion VND; services reached over 1,100 billion VND; the whole district has 10 3-star and 4-star OCOP products. In 2023, the poverty rate of the district decreased by 8.32% (to 22.13%). Comrade Giang Thi Hoa, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, and leaders of Muong Ang district presented gifts to Party cell secretaries, village chiefs, and heads of residential groups in the district.

The opinions of the delegates were received and answered by the district leaders. 2024 is a pivotal year in determining the completion of the goals and tasks of the 5-year socio-economic development plan. The District Party Committee and People's Committee hope that the team of Party cell secretaries, village chiefs, residential group leaders and key officials of 10 communes and towns will continue to promote their roles and responsibilities, creating high consensus in society. Advise local Party committees and authorities to organize the implementation, bring the resolutions, guidelines and policies of the Party and State into life, successfully implement the goals and tasks of the resolutions of Party congresses at all levels.
