Comrade Le Minh Hung - Head of the Central Organizing Committee worked with the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee

On the morning of November 16, in Vinh City, Comrade Le Minh Hung - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission worked with the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee.

Comrade Le Minh Hung - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission chaired the meeting with the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee.

Also attending the meeting were the Central leaders: Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Economic Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An Province, XVth term; Do Trong Hung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee.

On the side of Nghe An province, attending the conference were comrades: Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.

The meeting aimed to review the results of socio-economic tasks in the first 10 months of 2024; targets for implementing the Resolution of the Nghe An Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term and some contents on Party building work in the Provincial Party Committee.

Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Provincial Party Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the meeting.

In particular, Head of the Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung and the working delegation listened to recommendations and proposals related to Party building and organization work; implementing Directive No. 35-CT/TW, dated June 14, 2024 of the Politburo on Party congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party and Instruction No. 27-HD/BTCTW, dated August 26, 2024 of the Central Organizing Committee on a number of contents of Directive No. 35-CT/TW.

At the meeting, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province Nguyen Duc Trung respectfully thanked the affection and attention of the leaders of the Central Organizing Committee, especially the Head of the Central Organizing Committee personally, for Nghe An province in many working positions up to now.

Leaders of the Central Organizing Committee and the Central Economic Committee attended the meeting.

Regarding the preparation for Party congresses at all levels, the Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province proposed that the Central Government soon issue guidelines for implementing regimes and policies for cadres who are no longer re-elected to Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations at all levels, and guidelines for assessing political standards for Party committee personnel serving Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term.

At the same time, promptly issue guidelines on the work of assessing political standards for personnel participating in Party committees so that provincial and municipal Party committees can be proactive in the assessment work.

The Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province also proposed that the Central Government consider the policy of perfecting the province's key personnel to lead the implementation of the province's tasks in the coming time.

Regarding some issues related to Party building and organization, comrade Nguyen Duc Trung suggested that the Central Organizing Committee consider transferring the staffing of the following units: Nghe An Labor Culture House, Nghe An College of Economics and Technology 1, currently under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, to Nghe An province for management to ensure consistency and unity in the organization of staffing and implementation of policies; and provide specific instructions on the time when high school students graduate to facilitate the admission of new party members.

The Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee proposed that any unit proposing the transfer should submit a document requesting the opinion of the Central Organizing Committee, after receiving a coordination document from the relevant Party Committee regarding the transfer of Party organizations between the provincial and municipal Party Committees and the Central Party Committees.

Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee spoke at the meeting.

At the meeting, comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee said that the implementation of Directive No. 35-CT/TW of the Politburo and Instruction No. 27-HD/BTCTW was basically smooth; at the same time, he proposed a content for the Central Organizing Committee to consider related to the process of giving comments on documents of the upper-level party congresses for the party cells under the grassroots party committees selected to organize model congresses.

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Le Minh Hung congratulated the leaders of Nghe An province on being trusted by the Politburo to mobilize, appoint, and approve new positions. This is a recognition and high appreciation not only for the comrades individually but also for the collective of the Provincial Party Executive Committee and the Provincial Party Standing Committee.

Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung congratulated Nghe An on the results achieved in recent times; at the same time, emphasized and discussed the province's tasks in the coming time.

In the immediate future, the province needs to focus on concretizing Directive No. 35-CT/TW of the Politburo and doing a good job of preparing for the organization of party congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.

In particular, the province needs to focus on the work of building the documents of the Provincial Party Congress for the new term in the direction of determination to improve quality; set goals that must be highly feasible; point out development directions but must have specific solutions with resources for implementation. Head of the Central Organization Committee Le Minh Hung also noted that the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee continues to pay attention to doing a good job of personnel work for the next term, ensuring standards and conditions according to regulations.
