Tay Ninh Sun World Ba Den Mountain organizes a series of cultural and artistic programs on June 3-4, accompanying the festival activities at the Ba Den Mountain pagoda system.
The Buddha's Birthday, also known as Vesak, is held in the fourth lunar month every year, commemorating the birth of Buddha Shakyamuni. This is a major event for Buddhists and is celebrated with many activities. This year, a series of cultural and artistic programs will be held on the mountain top to celebrate the Buddha's Birthday at the Ba Mountain pagoda system.
According to information from the organizing committee, on the evenings of June 3-4 (April 16-17 of the lunar calendar), tourists and Buddhists coming to Ba Mountain will participate in a flower lantern parade at the square at the foot of the statue of Buddha Tay Bo Da Son. This is an activity to commemorate and honor Buddha and to send wishes and prayers for luck and peace.
2,000 wooden lanterns were specially made by Sun World Ba Den Mountain so that Buddhists and tourists can assemble the lanterns themselves, write prayers, and perform the ritual of offering and releasing the lanterns into water dishes at the foot of the statue of Buddha Tay Bo Da Son.

Next is the art program with the theme "Thousands of millions of halos", with folk dances such as lantern dance, flower offering dance... In addition, there are many dances and songs with Buddhist spirit performed by artists from Ho Chi Minh City.

To serve the program, the cable car ticket price for Sun World Ba Den Mountain to the top of the mountain in the evening is now only 200,000 VND for adults and 100,000 VND for children.
Ba Den Mountain is one of the spiritual symbols of the South, associated with the legend of Linh Son Thanh Mau Bodhisattva. On the top of the mountain is a system of large-scale, majestic spiritual works with the tallest bronze Buddha statue in Asia and a 4-storey Buddhist exhibition area right at the foot of the statue. Here, visitors will be able to explore the world of Buddhism through the world's leading modern technologies such as 3D mapping video, Hologram, or simulated versions of classic Buddhist works of Vietnam and the world.
