Earlier this December, premieres of the anime blockbuster The Lord of the Rings: The Battle of the Rohirrim were held in many countries, receiving praise from critics before its official release on December 13.

The anime is a prequel to The Lord of the Rings, set nearly 200 years before the events of the original film. The film centers on King Helm Hammerhand (voiced by Brian Cox) and his daughter, Princess Héra (voiced by Gaia Wise), in a battle that will determine the fate of the kingdom of Rohan.
Daniel Baptista, host of The Movie Podcast, was excited: " The Lord of the Rings: The Battle of the Rohirrim is a dazzling return to Middle-earth with stunning animation, weaving cinematic vision with anime style. In Vietnam, The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim officially hits theaters from December 13.
