MTA Hanoi "converges" optimal solutions for the mechanical engineering and manufacturing industry

According to the report from the Organizing Committee, 80% of exhibitors at MTA Hanoi 2023 were successful in building relationships with customers and business partners; 82% of exhibitors reached new customers; 84% of businesses were satisfied with the quality of the exhibition; and 94% planned to return for the next editions. Along with that, 95% of visitors found new suppliers, with the overall satisfaction rate of the exhibition program reaching 84%.

Following this result, MTA Hanoi 2024 is a special edition of the MTA exhibition series dedicated to the Northern market, held annually at the ICE Hanoi International Exhibition Center, Hoan Kiem District, gathering more than 90 exhibitors on a total area of ​​4,000 m2, from 13 countries and territories.

In the first 8 months of 2024, Vietnam's economy continued to make positive progress. The industrial production index (IIP) in August 2024 is estimated to increase by 2.0% over the previous month and by 9.5% over the same period last year. In the first 8 months of 2024, the IIP is estimated to increase by 8.6%. In particular, the processing and manufacturing industry continues to play a fundamental role, the driving force of economic growth, with an increase of 9.7%, contributing 8.4 percentage points to the overall increase.

In 2023, the processing and manufacturing industry attracted over 23.5 billion USD of FDI capital, accounting for 64.2% of the total registered FDI capital in Vietnam, an increase of 39.3% compared to 2022, becoming the industry attracting the largest FDI capital among 18 economic sectors with foreign direct investment. In terms of the number of new projects, the processing and manufacturing industry is also the leading industry in terms of the number of projects, accounting for 33.7% and adjusted capital, accounting for 54.8%. The results of attracting FDI into the processing and manufacturing industry last year showed that foreign investors continue to believe in the potential and favorable business environment of the industry in Vietnam.

Not to mention, in recent years, many northern provinces and cities have had breakthrough growth in the processing and manufacturing industry, along with technologies and solutions for sustainable production, minimizing waste and fuel, raw materials to build smart, modern factories. In that context, international exhibitions on the mechanical industry such as MTA Vietnam and MTA Hanoi have been bringing advanced, smart and sustainable manufacturing technologies closer to Vietnamese enterprises.

The opening ceremony of the 10th International Exhibition on Precision Engineering and Manufacturing took place on the morning of October 2 at the International Exhibition Center ICE Hanoi, 91 Tran Hung Dao, Hoan Kiem District.

According to the Organizing Committee, MTA Hanoi 2024 Exhibition welcomes more than 90 exhibitors from more than 13 countries and territories, including Taiwan (China), Germany, Korea, the United States, Hong Kong (China), Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Switzerland, China and Vietnam... to bring opportunities for trade cooperation for businesses in the mechanical industry as well as open up opportunities for personnel working in the mechanical field to update the latest trends in the industry, through a series of seminars led by leading experts.

MTA Hanoi 2024 focuses on displaying metal/sheet metal cutting machines; metal shaping machines; molds, casting molds; prototyping systems and software; surface treatment and heat treatment technology; welding technology; automation technology and many other auxiliary equipment and systems.

In addition, MTA Hanoi continues to bring a new automation technology display area called VINRA (Vietnam Industrial Robotics and Automation Event) to the exhibition in Hanoi.
