Mr. Dang Nguyen Thinh said that the Department of Education and Training of District 7 has requested school principals to organize propaganda and dissemination to cadres, civil servants, public employees who are teachers, staff and parents about related rights and obligations, identify responsibilities that need to be implemented to ensure compliance with legal regulations and strictly implement regulations on personal data protection in education and training activities.

Agencies, organizations, businesses and individuals involved in the collection and processing of personal data shall conduct a comprehensive review and classification of collected and processed personal data, and determine the protection responsibilities corresponding to each type of personal data in accordance with regulations on personal data protection.

The leaders of the Department of Education and Training of District 7 also requested that schools review and evaluate the process of collecting and processing personal data, and propose to issue management measures appropriate to the scale and level of personal data processing of the agency. Strictly handle acts of illegal transfer of personal data and buying and selling of personal data if detected. Report violations of regulations on personal data protection in case of detecting violations to the agency in charge of personal data protection no later than 72 hours after the violation occurs.

It is known that, implementing digital transformation in the education and training sector, starting from the 2024-2025 school year, the Ho Chi Minh City education and training sector has implemented digital transformation applications for primary school enrollment, updating information as well as routing on the system.
