In recent years, the agricultural startup movement in Tay Ninh in general and Go Dau district in particular has witnessed many typical production models, of which the model of growing tissue-cultured orchids in greenhouses by Mr. Le Hoang Nhan is considered an excellent example.
The model not only brings high economic efficiency, but also contributes to the sustainable development of rural areas, creating jobs for many workers.
After graduating from university with a degree in Information Technology, Le Hoang Nhan decided to return to his hometown of Go Dau to pursue his dream of starting a business in agriculture, despite initial difficulties.
With a capital of only 20 million VND supported by his family, he started growing orchids on an area of 12 square meters in 2018.
At this time, he faced many challenges, from lack of experience in farming to problems with weather and plant care. However, with a spirit of learning and perseverance, he researched on his own, attended training classes and learned from experts.
After a while, he mastered the process of growing and caring for orchid seedlings, helping his orchid garden grow strongly.
Not stopping at the initial success, in 2019, he expanded the orchid growing area to 200m² and then continued to increase the scale to 240m².
His orchid growing model gradually became stable and achieved good profits, opening a new direction for young farmers who dare to try their hand at agricultural production.

With the tissue culture orchid growing model bringing high economic efficiency, helping members and other farmers, Mr. Le Hoang Nhan was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Prime Minister.
However, during the production process, he realized the limitations of growing orchids outdoors, especially the effects of weather, pests and insects. Therefore, he decided to switch to developing a model of growing tissue culture orchids in greenhouses, a modern method that helps ensure the quality of seedlings and output products.
In 2020, he boldly invested in building a 1,000m² greenhouse, with an automatic irrigation and water filtration system, and applied advanced technologies to adjust temperature, humidity, and light to optimize the growth process of orchids.
This model not only helps him improve productivity, but also minimizes environmental impact, protecting seedlings from pests and external factors.
In 2021, his greenhouse area was expanded to 2,100m², and by 2022, he continued to increase the area to 3,600m². Annual revenue from selling orchid seedlings reached over 5 billion VND, with a profit of about 1.4 billion VND, helping his family have a stable income and sustainable development.
Not only that, this model also helps him become a leader in sharing orchid growing experiences and techniques with other farmers.
He provides quality orchid varieties, supports cultivation techniques, helps farmers increase productivity, reduce production costs and expand consumption markets.
Besides developing the family economy, Mr. Le Hoang Nhan also actively participates in community activities, contributing to building new rural areas and supporting poor families.
Mr. Nhan has created stable jobs for about 5 local workers with an income of 6 million to 8 million VND per month. At the same time, he has also helped 3 households escape poverty, creating a stable and sustainable life.
