A district in Ca Mau will not organize the 2024 high school graduation exam

On June 24, the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau province said that the Department has set up a hotline number to receive information related to the 2024 high school graduation exam.

This year’s high school graduation exam in Ca Mau has more than 10,180 candidates registered to take the exam. Of these, 143 candidates took the exam just to graduate and more than 9,700 candidates used the exam results to apply for university admission.

Ca Mau has arranged 17 official examination sites and 2 backup examination sites, with more than 430 examination rooms. Of the 9 districts and cities, only Ngoc Hien district (the most remote district in the province) does not arrange examination sites but organizes the examination together with Nam Can district to facilitate travel for candidates.

More than 1,700 officials, teachers, staff and other forces were mobilized to ensure human resources for the exam.

According to the Examination Steering Committee of Ca Mau province, the province will support candidates with the motto "no candidate will have to drop out of the exam due to economic difficulties or transportation".

Specifically, the province has provided nearly 100 million VND in cash support to more than 350 candidates from disadvantaged families; hundreds of volunteers have implemented plans such as free motorbike taxi rides, taking candidates to and from the exam, distributing free writing instruments, free meals and cakes, lunch breaks for candidates and their families, free lodging, etc.
