The ministry also said that the Russian military attacked energy infrastructure used to provide operational support for Kiev's armed forces, military airport infrastructure and drone manufacturing plants, as well as areas of concentration of enemy troops and equipment in 165 areas.
Accordingly, the air defense systems intercepted four missiles from the US-made High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) and 102 unmanned aerial vehicles.
In a related development, on November 16, Japan and Ukraine signed a treaty to facilitate the exchange of classified security information, an effort to strengthen cooperation amid the protracted Russia-Ukraine conflict that now involves the North Korean military.
Japanese Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya, who made a surprise visit to Kiev earlier in the day, joined host Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal at the treaty signing ceremony.
