'Doctor in my eyes' sends love to medical staff on the occasion of February 27
To celebrate the 70th anniversary of Vietnam Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2025), a painting workshop with the theme "Doctor in my eyes" was organized by a group of doctors from hospitals in the Hanoi area such as: Tam Anh General Hospital, Bach Mai Hospital, Hanoi Medical University Hospital, National Children's Hospital, E Hospital, ...
The painting workshop held at Havig Kindergarten attracted children from 4 years old and up. The painting workshop opened up a new, innocent, and pure perspective from children about doctors working in the health sector to add spiritual motivation from family and relatives to the white-shirt soldiers - those who are dedicating themselves day and night to the work of caring for and protecting people's health.
With the multi-material painting method from Acrylic, watercolor, wax, pencil... and the companionship of a group of teachers and art students from the Central University of Education and Music, after more than 3 hours of participating in the workshop, 33 paintings were completed and each painting conveyed a positive and meaningful message.
Ms. Tra Phuong - Doctor working at the Department of Nutrition, Tam Anh General Hospital, Hanoi - one of the doctors organizing the program shared: " As a doctor working in the medical field, I am also very curious about what a doctor will be like in the eyes of my children? And I believe my other colleagues are the same. Therefore, I and my colleagues joined hands to organize this small program to add more motivation to share, understand the spirit from the family, helping us to be able to confidently dedicate and work every day ".
Each picture is a story told by the children with such pure emotions that when we look at it, we all feel the warmth, the feelings that the children send to the doctors.
Inspired by the story of her aunt who is a doctor, Ngo Tran Bao Quyen, class 6A7 - Van Yen Secondary School, Ha Dong, drew a conversation between her daughter waiting for a meal cooked by her mother, and the very late announcement of her mother who sacrificed her own happiness and her family's because of work and patients.
Nguyen Duc Son, 4 years old, Koala House Kindergarten, Hanoi, was so adorable when he said that he drew a picture of a pink ambulance because his father is a firefighter and his mother is a doctor, so for him, an ambulance must be pink.
Phuong Nhi, 10 years old, Thang Long Primary School, Xa La Ha Dong, Hanoi excitedly describes the picture she drew, which is the image of the doctor who examined and treated her during her time in the hospital.
The stories of Bao Quyen, Duc Son, Phuong Nhi and the children in the workshop are just a few of hundreds of thousands of stories about the images and actions of the white-shirt soldiers.
Each picture is a wish and encouragement from the children to the doctors who are working hard day and night, dedicating themselves to the health of patients.

From 33 paintings drawn by children during the Workshop, the organizers combined them into a large painting to present to the Health and Life Newspaper - the mouthpiece of the Ministry of Health with the hope of spreading love to health workers across the country.
On the afternoon of February 20, Dr. Tra Phuong and her daughter Phuong Nhi - representatives of the organizing committee, came to the editorial office of the Health and Life Newspaper to present the painting 'Doctor in My Eyes'.
Mr. Tran Tuan Linh - Editor-in-Chief of Health and Life Newspaper was very moved by the innocent, pure and natural drawings of the children, but also containing many meaningful messages on the occasion of February 27. Mr. Tran Tuan Linh also sent his deep thanks to the organizing committee of the drawing workshop 'Doctor in my eyes' and said that this is a meaningful gift, contributing to cheering and encouraging the spirit of the white-shirt soldiers on the occasion of Vietnam Doctors' Day, February 27.

Receiving encouragement from Health and Life Newspaper, on behalf of the workshop organizers, Ms. Tra Phuong and her daughter went to the Central Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital to give gifts to the patients there.
