First launched in Vietnam in July 2023, the Mercedes-AMG C 43 rarely appears on the used car market. Therefore, the fact that a used luxury car dealer in Ho Chi Minh City is offering this model for sale at a price of less than 3 billion VND has inevitably attracted the attention of the car enthusiast community.

The seller said that the Mercedes-AMG C 43 above was first registered in August 2023, has traveled more than 5,600km and has an offered transfer price of 2.699 billion VND. This price is 261 million VND lower than the new listed price (2.96 billion VND).
Because it was registered in the second half of 2023, this C 43 has a 50% reduction in registration fees thanks to domestic assembly. The total rolling cost of this model in Ho Chi Minh City is about 3.13 billion VND. This means that the previous owner "lost" no less than 431 million VND when transferring the car, even though the car has not been on the road much.
The price of imported used cars at showrooms is often lower than the selling price, so the original owner of the C 43 will "lose" more than 431 million VND, most likely up to nearly 500 million VND (Photo: Chan Khang).
Experts explain that, in addition to the selling price of nearly 3 billion VND, the Mercedes-AMG C 43 is also picky about its players because it is a high-performance car, with a powerful engine and a sports suspension system that is not suitable for the needs of the majority.

The Mercedes-AMG C 43 4Matic is powered by a 2.0L turbocharged engine combined with 48V mild-hybrid technology that supplies power to the belt-driven starter generator (RSG).
This configuration produces a maximum power of 408 horsepower and a maximum torque of 500Nm, and can add an additional 14 horsepower for a short time.

The accompanying gearbox is a 9-speed automatic AMG SpeedShift MCT 9G (Multi-Clutch Transmission), combined with the AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive system that distributes 31% torque to the front axle and 69% to the rear axle.
According to the manufacturer's announcement, the car can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 4.6 seconds.
