Dismissal of Mr. Bui Van Cuong from the position of Secretary General of the National Assembly

The National Assembly passed a resolution to dismiss Mr. Bui Van Cuong from the position of Secretary General of the National Assembly, member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, and from his duties as a National Assembly deputy.

On October 25, the National Assembly held a separate meeting on personnel work under its authority.

The National Assembly voted to pass Resolution No. 157/2024/QH15 dated October 25, 2024 on the dismissal of Mr. Bui Van Cuong from the position of Secretary General of the National Assembly, member of the National Assembly Standing Committee and termination of his duties as a deputy of the 15th National Assembly.

Mr. Bui Van Cuong ceased to hold the positions of Secretary General of the National Assembly, member of the National Assembly Standing Committee; ceased to perform the duties of a delegate of the 15th National Assembly.

He retired at his own request and enjoyed benefits and policies according to current regulations.
