According to the Hanoi Department of Transport, since its commercial operation, the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station metro has attracted passengers to go to school and work instead of using personal vehicles.

Compared to the first 15 days of the Cat Linh - Ha Dong railway, the number of passengers transported doubled, reaching nearly 744 thousand passengers (compared to 380 thousand passengers traveling by Cat Linh - Ha Dong train in the first 15 days of free travel).

After 15 days of free operation, the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station Metro line still attracts people to use it every day.

Notably, after only collecting fees for a week, the route has attracted tens of thousands of passengers, including students and workers, who have registered to buy monthly tickets. It is predicted that when the school year begins, it will attract a large number of students to use it instead of personal vehicles.

In the first phase (first 3 months) from August 8 to October 8, including the first 15 days of free passenger transport, the Nhon - Hanoi station metro line will operate according to the schedule of 4 trains, 10 minutes apart per trip.

The next phase after 3 months, weekdays (from Monday to Friday), operate according to the operating schedule of 4-6 trains, 6 minutes/trip between rush hours, 10 minutes/trip between normal hours.

On weekends (Saturday, Sunday) and holidays, operate according to the schedule of 4 trains, 10 minutes apart.

Passengers can buy single tickets at the automatic ticket machine or at the staff counter.

Passengers with daily tickets go to the ticket counter to buy tickets, the price is 24,000 VND/person/day, unlimited trips per day and will expire after the day.

Free passengers are those who have been issued a free bus pass. Accordingly, passengers will have to go to the ticket counter and present their free bus pass.

Regular customers can buy monthly tickets for 200,000 VND/person/month. Students and workers in industrial zones can buy them for 100,000 VND/person/month.

Workers at offices and businesses outside industrial parks buy monthly tickets in groups for 140,000 VND/person/ticket/month.

The monthly ticket for the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station metro line has some differences compared to the Cat Linh - Ha Dong line. Specifically, the monthly ticket for the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station metro line is valid from the first day of the month to the last day of the month, unlike the Cat Linh - Ha Dong line which is valid for 30 days from the date of activation.

Monthly tickets are identified, with the user's photo and information printed on them. Therefore, the time to make monthly tickets is 1-3 days longer than the Cat Linh - Ha Dong route.

Regarding connection with the public passenger transport system (PTP) by bus, up to now, there are 38 connecting bus routes (including 33 subsidized bus routes and 5 non-subsidized routes) operating along the route corridor.

The Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station metro line passes through busy streets such as Highway 32, Xuan Thuy, Cau Giay. With a maximum design speed of 80km/h, according to calculations, the line can transport a maximum of more than 500,000 passengers/day and night.

From 8:00 a.m. on August 8, the 8.5km elevated section from Nhon to S8 station of the Nhon - Hanoi railway station urban railway line officially began commercial operation to serve passengers.

The elevated section from Nhon to Cau Giay includes 8 stations: Nhon (S1); Minh Khai (S2); Phu Dien (S3); Cau Dien (S4); Le Duc Tho (S5); National University (S6); Chua Ha (S7); Cau Giay (S8).
