Electric Mercedes-Benz G-Class is about to arrive in Vietnam, priced at nearly 9 billion VND

(Dan Tri) - Dealers have received deposits for the genuine Mercedes-Benz G 580. The car is the Edition One version, limited production, and can travel up to 473km after each full charge.

The dealer said that the upcoming G-Class product line of Mercedes-Benz Vietnam will have an additional pure electric option, called G 580, expected to be delivered in the first quarter of 2025. Notably, the genuine G 580 variant will be a limited edition Edition One with a limited production quantity, with an estimated price of nearly 9 billion VND.

Compared to the regular version, the Mercedes-Benz G 580 Edition One will be available with the AMG Line and Night Package sports exterior packages with sporty front bumpers and black painted wheels; the interior has the Superior Line package. The car has 4 Manufaktur personalized paint color options including: gray, matte blue, white and matte white.

The interior of the Mercedes-Benz G 580 still has the familiar design of the G-Class line, but adds some blue trim lines. The Superior Line package includes the dashboard, steering wheel and seats all covered in Nappa leather, and some details are covered in carbon fiber.

In terms of performance, the Mercedes-Benz G 580 is equipped with 4 electric motors located on 4 wheels, providing a total capacity of 590 horsepower and a maximum torque of 1,165Nm. The included battery pack has a capacity of 116kWh, allowing a maximum travel of 473km after each full charge.

Notably, the Mercedes-Benz G 580 will have many unique off-road support technologies. First is Off-road Crawling, which helps the car automatically roll and maintain the same speed, with 3 different levels of customization; next is G-Steering, which supports steering to reduce the turning radius; finally, G-Turn, which provides the ability to turn the car almost on the spot.

The G-Class is a highly recognizable Mercedes-Benz model in Vietnam, sought after by the upper class. The genuine AMG G 63 model with a listed price of 11.75 billion VND is often out of stock; private cars imported are often the Edition One version, at times the price is pushed up to 16 billion VND.
