Drone light show is a form of aerial art, performed with a series of LED-equipped drones. At the ceremony, more than 1,000 drones performed light art, recreating the nation's glorious history through images of ships from the past, present and towards the future. Along with that was the sound of brilliant, jubilant fireworks at the opening ceremony of the Ho Chi Minh City River Festival 2024.
The performance is expected to create the brand of the Ho Chi Minh City River Festival and the highlight of the event is the art program "Legendary Train".

Ho Chi Minh City also organized fireworks right after the "Legendary Train" art program ended at 9:30 p.m. Notably, for the first time, there were 3 fireworks locations on the Saigon River, revolving around the Bach Dang Wharf area and were fired consecutively.
With the locations of the fireworks displays revolving around Bach Dang Wharf, residents and tourists can both have fun in the central area, watch the Saigon River at night, and watch boats on the Saigon River.
Following the success of the 2023 edition, the 2024 Ho Chi Minh City River Festival this year opened with a special art program "Storytelling River" season 2 with the theme "Legendary Train". The musical with a scale of more than 1,000 actors and 9,000 live attendees
The 2nd Ho Chi Minh City River Festival is a series of tourism - culture - entertainment - art - sports - cuisine - shopping activities. The festival is oriented to become a brand event, contributing to positioning Ho Chi Minh City - a river city rich in cultural identity.
