Huong Giang as Tuoi, Luong The Thanh as Vui in the play "The House in the Clouds"
On the evening of October 27, Thien Dang Drama Theater performed the first performance of the play "The House in the Clouds" (author Dinh Nguyen - Huong Giang, director Tuan Khoi). With the theme "Where there is family, that place is called home". The audience was led by the actors into the story of Ms. Tuoi's family selling jellyfish noodles in a central province of the country, where the famous dish has attracted tourists and among them is a man who is looking for the exact flavor of jellyfish noodles that he once "fell in love with".
From there, we turn to each story of the lives of those who drifted into the singing profession, living with the passion for singing and performing, bringing joy to the villagers through traditional opera plays.
And mixed with tears is meaningful laughter, convincing the audience about a play that seems to be a comedy but at a new level, following the creative and staging direction of Thien Dang as Meritorious Artist Thanh Loc - the person in charge of the art of this stage wishes.

The play "House in the Clouds" also sends the audience a message of love through Ms. Tuoi's dream of enduring hardships to save enough money to buy back her old house. The two words "reunion" in that dream seem simple but have pushed her to face many humiliating realities. Because, when she wanted to be a link between her father and younger brother, the conflict between them pushed her house to drift in the clouds.

The play features the following actors: Huu Chau, Huong Giang, Phi Phung, Phuong Dung, Huy Tu, Luong The Thanh, Quyen Qui, Truong Thinh, Manh Hung, Nhan Tam, Cong Dung, Son Giang, Huy An.
The outstanding and surprising role is that of Luong The Thanh, the coffin shop owner named Vui, who is so charming. The audience has long seen Luong The Thanh as a positive, handsome young man, but this time he appears with a mischievous appearance, devoting all his love to Tuoi, despite being rejected many times, still persevering with the goal of his heart.
No one expected Luong The Thanh to be able to act in a comedy role and act with confidence, mastering the stage, turning situations around, making every gesture, facial expression, and eye contact of his cause laughter.

Besides, Huong Giang plays the lead role in a play for the first time. Perhaps because she has participated in the scriptwriting work from the story of young author Dinh Nguyen - daughter of artist Meritorious Artist Le Van Dinh, she knows where her strengths are.
The role of Ms. Tuoi from then on carried many emotions, with a full range of feelings, sometimes making the audience moved, sometimes making them laugh with delight because of her delicate acting.
Having been used to the supporting role for a long time, Ms. Tuoi has now given Huong Giang the opportunity to take over the main character and leave an impressive mark in the vivid picture of "The House in the Clouds".

The remaining roles all won the public's affection, most clearly seen in the interaction of the trio: Huu Chau, Phi Phung, Phuong Dung as a support for their juniors. Together with Meritorious Artist Thanh Loc, they made efforts to affirm a new style of dialogue, not repeating the shadow of previous plays.
According to Meritorious Artist Thanh Loc, since the musical "Giang Huong - Late Night Stage", the pressure on directors when collaborating with Thien Dang has been very great.
If not on the right track, the comedy will deviate and become similar. This steering prevents the comedy from falling into cross-dressing, vulgar and meaningless language, but the laughter from the created situations erupts spontaneously.
Director Tuan Khoi knows how to create highlights for each scene, not leaving any funny parts. Each time he turns the lights down to change the scene or space, the audience is excited and waiting.
So the story "The House in the Clouds" does not drift with the clouds but follows the audience home, to both contemplate and feel that somewhere in one's own home, if one does not know how to preserve it, it will also wander in the clouds.
