After universities announced their admission scores, 40 students of class 12A1, Yen Thanh 2 High School (Yen Thanh district) were all happy to be admitted to universities.

Teacher Hoang Danh Chien, homeroom teacher of class 12A1, said that the 40 students are mostly children of farmers and have difficult circumstances. However, with their continuous efforts over the past 3 school years, the results they have achieved today are well deserved.

Standing out in the class is Phan Xuan Dung, who passed the A block of Hanoi University of Science and Technology and the B block of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy with over 27 points.

"I am very happy and excited that the whole class passed the university entrance exam. The results I have achieved today are not only due to my own efforts, but also the teachings, guidance and direction of my teachers and parents. Although I passed both schools, I will choose Medicine at Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy to pursue my dream of curing and saving people," Dung shared.
