On this occasion, the district has 5 streets and roads named after places, including: Cu Khoi Street and Hoa Dong Street in Cu Khoi Ward; Dong Thanh Street and Quan Tinh Street in Giang Bien Ward; Vo Trung Street in Phuc Loi Ward and 1 street named after famous person Nguyen Gia Bong in Ngoc Thuy Ward, from the intersection of Ly Son Street at house number 21 (residential group 32 Ngoc Thuy) to the intersection of Ngoc Thuy Street at the headquarters of Ngoc Thuy Ward People's Committee.

Celebrity Nguyen Gia Bong was born in 1921 and died in 1990. His hometown was Gia Thuy, Gia Lam (now Gia Thuy ward, Long Bien district, Hanoi). During his revolutionary activities, the Party and State assigned him many important responsibilities: Standing member of the Phu Tho Viet Minh Provincial Committee; Deputy Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Viet Minh Provincial Committee; Secretary of the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee; Standing member of the Viet Bac Inter-zone Administrative Committee; Standing member of the Viet Bac Regional Administrative Committee; Deputy Minister of Food and Foodstuffs (from February 1971 to November 1984)...

According to Vice Chairwoman of Long Bien District People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Hang, this is also one of the very meaningful activities of Long Bien District, practically welcoming the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hanoi Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024). In the coming time, the district will continue to implement many solutions to maintain and improve roads and streets to ensure "Bright - green - clean - beautiful" and more and more roads and streets are recognized as "Urban civilized streets". At the same time, organize propaganda to all classes of people about the meaning of streets named after places to preserve traditional cultural values, especially streets named after famous people who are veteran comrades of the Revolution.

Attending the street nameplate ceremony, the family of celebrity Nguyen Gia Bong also presented 10 gifts worth 20 million VND to disadvantaged households in Ngoc Thuy ward.
