Now, the school announces an adjustment to the enrollment schedule on Sunday, July 2, 2023. This announcement was made after the Pedagogical High School informed about a technical problem that caused the results displayed when searching on the school's website for some candidates to be inaccurate between 9:00 p.m. on June 29 and 9:00 a.m. on June 30. As soon as the software error was discovered, the school posted a correction and apologized to parents on the school's website.

Regarding the suspicion that the original published scores contained errors like this, Dr. Vu Van Tien, Principal of the High School for the Gifted (Hanoi National University of Education) affirmed that there was absolutely no such thing. "After discovering the error, the information technology department removed the faulty software and the technical department reviewed it, and at the same time posted the new results. The re-examination scores have a hard copy so they can be compared, absolutely no cheating occurred. This error mainly occurs with candidates taking the English major class."

However, this mistake caused some disappointment for parents and students when some students were informed that their results changed from passing to failing.

With about 6,100 candidates participating, this year's entrance exam for grade 10 at the Pedagogical High School is the most crowded since 2018. In 2023, the school's highest admission score for grade 10 is 26.5 points, the lowest is 23.75 points.
