In addition to information related to the RMIT 2024 majors and scholarships, the program also includes a sharing of application experiences from students who have won RMIT scholarships.

RMIT's Special Partners

RMIT’s outstanding scholarship winners are also true partners of the University in promoting the progress of the country and other countries where the RMIT community is present. The invitation to apply for the RMIT Scholarship 2024 is open to all young people with dreams and ambitions to make positive changes for themselves and their communities. They can be young people with excellent academic ability, special talents, with the desire to become leaders, and also those with financial barriers or physical limitations but with great aspirations to excel.

In addition to announcing the RMIT 2024 scholarship fund with 106 scholarships, the workshop also included a sharing of experiences in winning RMIT scholarships.

Among the scholarship categories, the most special is the Dream Wings Scholarship - an RMIT scholarship program that coordinates with partner organizations to search for and award scholarships to young people with potential and strong will but due to difficult circumstances, do not have the conditions to develop themselves.

Since its inception in 2014, the Dream Wings Scholarship has been awarded to 34 students with special circumstances, with a total value of more than VND56.6 billion. This is RMIT’s most valuable scholarship because in addition to 100% of the undergraduate tuition fee, the scholarship also includes monthly living expenses, homecoming expenses (depending on the case), tuition fees for English courses and personal computers.

Nguyen Thanh Vinh is the first blind student to ever win the RMIT Wings of Dreams scholarship. During his studies, Vinh contributed to the launch of RMIT Access, an initiative of the university to ensure that all students can access learning materials in the most convenient way. After completing his bachelor's degree at RMIT, Vinh won the Chevening scholarship to study for a Master's degree in the UK and has just completed this program. Regarding his future plans, Vinh shared his dream of establishing a social enterprise, especially for the blind, to help solve the needs and difficulties they are facing. In addition to Nguyen Thanh Vinh, RMIT also has Hang Thi Ly, Nghiem Thu Loan, Ca Thi Cuc ... and many other students who have received the Wings of Dreams scholarship with their own inspiring stories.

Hang Thi Ly, a H'Mong girl who won RMIT's Wings of Dreams scholarship, shared that to study at RMIT, she had nothing but big dreams for the community.

Beyond the meaning of financial support, the Dream Wings Scholarship has helped nurture confidence and spread motivation to strive to the young generation of Vietnam from all over the country.

Invitation to qualified young people with dreams

The number of RMIT scholarships is estimated to increase steadily each year, with an average of more than 100 scholarships and a value of up to more than VND50 billion. One year, the Review Board decided to increase the number of scholarships based on the potential of the candidates. A former student who received an RMIT scholarship encouraged the younger generation to boldly apply for a scholarship from RMIT Vietnam to seek opportunities. "Don't think it won't be your turn to receive a scholarship because you are not the one who makes that decision. Therefore, you should prepare your application well and seize this opportunity." This is also the message that RMIT wants to send to future scholarship candidates - let's initiate change with RMIT, starting with being confident in yourself and ready to accept the invitation from the RMIT scholarship program. Successful candidates are also those who RMIT places their trust in, expecting the contributions they will bring to the community in the future.

Over the past 23 years, RMIT has awarded scholarships to more than 1,700 outstanding individuals.

In addition to the great value, RMIT Vietnam's scholarship program is also diverse in categories, creating opportunities for young people with different starting points. In addition to scholarships for students who will study at RMIT, the school also has scholarships for current students with excellent academic achievements. After graduation, students who received scholarships from RMIT are currently holding many important positions in large domestic and foreign organizations and enterprises such as Nestlé, KPMG, Lazada, UNICEF, etc.

The RMIT Vietnam alumni community is over 20,000 strong and currently has over 1,700 students who have received RMIT scholarships worth over VND513 billion. The scholarship program is a clear demonstration of RMIT University’s commitment to developing society through education.
