In less than a month, many U23 Vietnam players have consecutively participated in two tournaments: U23 Southeast Asia 2023 and U23 Asia 2024 qualifiers.
In both tournaments, the red team played very well, successfully defending the Southeast Asian U23 championship and winning a ticket to the 2024 Asian U23 Finals as group winners.
After those impressive performances, many U23 Vietnam players have increased their prices on the transfer market.
According to Transfermarkt, the transfer value of player Le Van Do has increased from 50,000 euros to 125,000 euros (about 3.2 billion VND).
Similar to his teammates, two players Ngoc Thang and Ho Van Cuong are also valued at 125,000 euros.
Two talents Hoang Van Toan and Thai Son are both valued at 100,000 euros (2.5 billion VND) by Transfermarkt.
Meanwhile, Luong Duy Cuong and Phan Tuan Tai are the highest valued players in the Vietnam U23 team with 150,000 euros (about 3.9 billion VND).
According to Transfermarkt, the total value of the U23 Vietnam squad at the present time is 1.72 million euros (about more than 44 billion VND).
However, U23 Vietnam only ranks 4th in Southeast Asia in terms of total squad value, after U23 Malaysia (2.13 million euros), U23 Thailand (2.28 million euros) and U23 Indonesia (4.23 million euros).
