Just like last year's live show, the music night Lover & Homeland by Nhu Quynh had all the colors from music, fashion to comedy, just like a variety show.

The music night Lover & Homeland by singer Nhu Quynh took place on the evening of January 4, at Hoa Binh Theater (HCMC).
This is the third year Nhu Quynh has organized a music night with the theme Lover & Homeland and hopes to organize it annually.
The music night gathered more than 20 artists and singers from many generations to perform such as: singers Huong Lan, Hoa Mi, Truong Vu, Quang Le, Ha Thanh Xuan, Hien Thuc, Duong Trieu Vu, Bui Anh Tuan, Ho Van Cuong, Sa Huynh, Hoang My An...
Although the concert lasted about 4.5 hours, until after 1am the next morning (January 5), it still kept many fans until the end of the program.
Nhu Quynh said the idea of designing wings on stage is to make the music night a place for generations to meet, for people pursuing different music genres to meet, especially the next generation.

The music night Lover & Homeland opened with the impressive appearance of singers Nhu Quynh and Ha Thanh Xuan in a bird cage dropped from above.

Combining traditional music and rap is not something new, but it is new to Nhu Quynh. She collaborated with rapper Xuan Lan in the song Qua cau gio bay , making the audience cheer continuously.
This is considered a breakthrough performance that connects two generations. Nhu Quynh is graceful in a folk dance, while Xuan Lan is youthful and full of energy.

The exchange with singers Nhu Quynh and Hien Thuc was quite emotional after both performed Xom Vang. Hien Thuc said this was the second time she sang a duet with Nhu Quynh. The first time they sang the song Co Be Mua Xuan together was when they were 10 years old.
Perhaps the most anticipated part is the duet between Nhu Quynh and Ho Van Cuong, which is also one of the special highlights. The two combined in the emotional song "Em khong buon nao chi oi ".
Ho Van Cuong also attracted attention with a new mix combining rap in the song Song of the Southern Land. The audience cheered and sang along with Ho Van Cuong.

The music night Lover & Homeland was carefully invested in by the organizers in terms of stage design, lighting and sound. However, the sound system had many problems, losing sound during the performances of singer Hien Thuc and actress Kieu Oanh.
The duration of the concert was quite long, about 4.5 hours, but the program's script was not really attractive and did not captivate the audience.

Taking on the role of leading, connecting and interacting in the program are three MCs: Cu Trong Xoay, Oc Thanh Van and Thanh Thanh Huyen.
Having 3 MCs in a music show is considered unnecessary by many audiences. Meanwhile, each time the MC appears to introduce the performance, there are only one or two people.
Many stories that the MC inserted into the introduction were unnatural, even awkward. The MC expressed a lot of personal emotions, making the audience uncomfortable.
Despite being Nhu Quynh's concert, the audience was not satisfied with the modest number of songs she performed solo. She sang 3 solo songs out of a total of 30 performances.
Mostly, Nhu Quynh sings duets, trios, and even quartets with guest singers.
The Lover & Homeland music night is the last music night at Hoa Binh Theater before it closes for renovation.
