Notre Dame Cathedral, France: After the devastating fire in 2019, Notre Dame Cathedral is undergoing meticulous restoration to restore the majestic appearance of Europe's leading architectural work. After being restored, the cathedral is equipped with a special system before welcoming visitors in December 2024. Philippe Jost, chairman of the Notre Dame Reconstruction Committee, said the building is expected to attract about 14 million visitors a year after reopening.
