According to information from the Department of Cinema - Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the 23rd Vietnam Film Festival will take place in Da Lat city (Lam Dong province) from November 21-25.
Film criteria for participation in the 2023 Vietnam Film Festival :
Vietnamese-language films, produced by Vietnamese film establishments or in cooperation with foreign organizations and individuals, and have no copyright disputes.
The film has not yet participated in the Vietnam Film Festival and the National Television Festival.
Remakes of foreign scripts and films can register to participate in the programs of the 23rd Vietnam Film Festival.
Films selected for the competition round will be considered for individual awards for director, actor, cameraman, artist, sound, and music (no awards for films and scriptwriters will be considered).
Feature film, duration 70 minutes or more.
Documentaries, scientific films and animations not exceeding 100 minutes in length.
Films participating in the 23rd Vietnam Film Festival must be granted a Film Distribution License or a Film Classification License between July 1, 2021 and August 25, 2023; special cases will be considered and decided by the Head of the Film Festival Steering Committee.
