Vietnam Circus Federation will serve audiences with more than 20 special programs in 2024

Director of the Vietnam Circus Federation, People's Artist Tong Toan Thang, said that in 2024, the Vietnam Circus Federation will have more than 20 programs with focused investment in both scale and artistic quality. In particular, the Federation will coordinate with a unit in Japan to combine magic with circus, bringing ninja to the Vietnamese circus stage. In addition, many programs will be invested in or renewed by the Federation to serve the audience such as: Flying Rose Petals, Circus and Magic Gala 3 regions, Circus and Rock, Green Dreams, Mermaid Story, Tam Cam, Bong Bong, Bang Bang...

Also according to People's Artist Tong Toan Thang, cultural programs and historical events such as the program Living Forever with Dien Bien to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory, the program Going with the Years to celebrate War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27), the program Hanoi in My Heart to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (October 10)... will be recreated by the Vietnam Circus Federation in circus language with the participation of the most talented circus artists of the federation.

Mr. Tong Toan Thang shared, Going with the Years is the 6th year the program has been staged. The program has created an impression, a brand and is very touching, deeply touching people's emotions. The circus excerpt "Cuc oi" even made the audience cry and this excerpt won the excellent award at the 2023 National Festival of Good Stage Art Excerpts of the Vietnam Stage Artists Association.

What is special is that at the Customer Conference there were 3 People's Artists: People's Artist Tam Chinh, People's Artist Vu Ngoan Hop, People's Artist Ta Duy Anh, all of whom were once directors of the Vietnam Circus Federation.

People's Artist Ta Duy Anh highly appreciated the programs that the Vietnam Circus Federation will introduce to the audience in 2024. He also said that audience feedback is extremely important, especially for new programs that have just been staged by artists of the Vietnam Circus Federation. Audience feedback can be heard immediately so that the federation can do better and be more professional.

People's Artist Tam Chinh shared: “I and the previous generations of directors present here are all happy and proud to be present at the Conference. We are very impressed that the Director, People's Artist Tong Toan Thang, together with the Board of Directors and staff and artists of the Vietnam Circus Federation have done things that previous generations could not think of and do. For 5 consecutive years, the Vietnam Circus Federation has always had a plan to perform programs of the year. Each year, the number of programs increases, and the quality is also significantly improved. More than 20 new programs will be continuously performed by the Federation in 2014, which is an extremely large volume. Hopefully, the press, media, tourism businesses and travel agencies will continue to support the creative, bold and extremely effective ideas of the Circus Federation.”

Flying Rose Petals - Vietnamese Circus Princess will open a series of nearly 20 different art performances by the Vietnam Circus Federation in 2024. Accordingly, Flying Rose Petals is an annual program organized by the Vietnam Circus Federation to celebrate International Women's Day and at the same time recognize the great contributions to circus art of female artists. This year's program has the theme of Vietnamese Circus Princess, performed at the Central Circus Theater (67 - 69 Tran Nhan Tong, Hanoi) from March 8 to March 10.

This is a completely new program, with the participation of many excellent female artists from the Circus Federation, who won high prizes at circus festivals at home and abroad in 2023. In particular, the program has the participation of typical female circus artists from guest units such as the Vietnam Circus and Variety Arts College or the Hanoi Circus and Variety Arts Theater.

Many attractive circus shows are held in 2024

After this program, the Vietnam Circus Federation will also soon launch the circus art program Living Forever with Dien Bien, scheduled to be held on May 4, 5, 11 and 12 to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory. Accordingly, using the special language of the circus genre, the program will recreate many historical stories with heroic and tragic sounds. At the same time, a number of armed forces heroes will also be invited to interact at the program.

"Our programs not only satisfy the entertainment needs of the audience but also aim to demonstrate the civic responsibility of each artist. Therefore, the Circus Federation will listen to feedback and contributions to continue building programs with professionalism, conveying profound social and educational meanings" - People's Artist Tong Toan Thang, Director of the Vietnam Circus Federation shared.

In addition to the two highlights mentioned above, in 2024, the Vietnam Circus Federation plans to organize a series of other art programs such as the first Circus and Magic Gala of the three regions (from April 27 to May 1); Children's Day program (May 25 to June 2); Vietnam - Laos Friendship Circus program performed in Vientiane to celebrate the founding day of the Lao PDR Circus Troupe (June 12 - 20); Animal circus gala to celebrate National Day September 2 and Mid-Autumn Festival; Circus and Rock on the occasion of Vietnamese Women's Day; Vietnam Circus Star Gala or the plays Tam Cam - Bong Bong Bang Bang and The Mermaid Story...

It is expected that in 2024, the Vietnam Circus Federation will also work with partners from Japan to stage a new program combining circus arts and magic, including bringing the image of Japanese Ninja to the circus stage./.
