Lunar New Year 2024 holiday schedule for students in Ho Chi Minh City

The 2024 Lunar New Year holiday and first semester break schedule for students in Ho Chi Minh City are as follows: Students in Ho Chi Minh City will have Lunar New Year holiday from February 5, 2024 (December 26, year of the Cat) to February 18, 2024 (January 9, year of the Dragon).

The Lunar New Year holiday schedule is included in the 2023-2024 school year schedule approved by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee for all levels of education from preschool to high school, which specifically stipulates the school opening day, opening ceremony and Lunar New Year holiday schedule.

Semester 1 holiday schedule for students in Ho Chi Minh City

According to the school year plan approved by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, all levels will start semester I from September 5, 2023 to January 13, 2024. Semester II will start from January 15, 2024 to May 25, 2024. Closing date is from May 26-31, 2024.
