In the current Oval Office, US President Donald Trump no longer meets in the traditional way, that is, meeting one-on-one with each official. Instead, with his interactive style, he will combine meetings, introduce leaders to each other, create explosions of energy and humor, turning the White House into a place of increased personal interaction.

Mr. Trump shakes so many hands that the back of his right hand almost always has a large, flesh-colored band-aid to cover a bruise.

His typical workday begins at 6 a.m. and often ends close to midnight, with small, intimate dinners at the White House with a variety of officials.

At 78, he is more energetic than most people 40 years his junior. Mr. Trump said that when he wakes up, the first thing that comes to his mind is the word "work." Before, it was business, now it's politics .

"I don't have time to think about entertainment," he said.

In less than three weeks since taking office, President Trump has shaken America and the world with his relentless activity. He has signed 500 executive orders, held meetings at the White House with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba, and spoken with dozens of world leaders and American politicians.

White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles explained the breakneck pace of work: "We need to save this country."

In stark contrast to his austere and tightly controlled meetings with the press, Mr. Trump holds crowded press conferences and answers everyone's questions.

He is very proud of the youngest White House Press Secretary in history, 27-year-old Karoline Leavitt.

He is also proud of billionaire Elon Musk, the world's richest man who is leading the Government Efficiency Board to thoroughly tackle waste and corruption in the federal apparatus, saving more than $1,000 billion a year for American taxpayers.

One of the agencies targeted is the US Agency for International Development (USAID). Mr. Trump said the US should close this agency and hand it over to the US State Department.

Next, Mr. Trump will address the Pentagon and other agencies, including the FBI and CIA. “This is the greatest thing that has happened to this country in many, many years,” he said.

Additionally, Mr. Trump has turned a small space outside the Oval Office, which he once called the “Monica Room,” into a display case with all sorts of MAGA hats on display on shelves, as well as gold shoes, water bottles and copies of his photo books.
