VAR application schedule for round 2 of V-League 2024/2025: Hot at Hang Day

This weekend, V-League 2024/2025 will continue to be exciting with the matches of round 2. According to the announcement from the Organizing Committee, round 2 of V-League 2024/2025 will have 6/7 matches applying VAR technology.

The only match in this round that does not apply VAR technology is the match between Da Nang and Ha Tinh at Hoa Xuan Stadium. Thus, this is the second consecutive match that Ha Tinh plays without VAR in the 2024/2025 V-League. In the previous round, Ha Tinh beat Nam Dinh 1-0 in a match without VAR.

The reason why the Organizing Committee has not been able to apply VAR to 100% of matches is because the Organizing Committee currently only has 4 VAR vehicles in operation, distributed in the North - Central - South regions: the North has 2 VAR vehicles, the Central and Central Highlands regions have 1 vehicle and 1 vehicle is located in the South region.

In round 2 of V-League 2024/2025, all eyes of fans will be on Hang Day, where CAHN competes with Thanh Hoa and The Cong Viettel faces Hanoi FC.

CAHN was held to a draw by Hai Phong in the previous round, so they really want to get their first 3 points. Meanwhile, The Cong Viettel is also looking for their first win of the season after only getting 1 point at Thong Nhat Stadium in the first round.
