During our time at Dinh Mountain, we also experienced the outdoor navigation feature with the built-in sensor for 3-axis compass and barometer or TracBack® round-trip route. Determining the desired destination and the route back to the starting point became easy.

Instinct 2X Solar is the first smartwatch to offer the "obstacle race" feature as a new activity, including many different running segments and obstacles that are quite interesting and new, unfortunately the recent trip to Dinh mountain did not have an activity to experience this feature. However, we are satisfied with the "walking" feature on Garmin when it has assessed heart rate, distance quite accurately... to make the most reasonable body adjustments.

For nighttime activities, the LED light on the Instinct 2X Solar - Tactical Edition shines a dedicated white or green light. The green light is useful for maintaining the eye's natural night vision. In the dark of the forest, the green light is also useful for signaling to friends.
