Today, October 2, Lenovo has continuously affirmed its commitment to society through its annual CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activity called “Promoting Education with Technology” at Tan Son Nhi Charity School (Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City).
Funded by the Lenovo Foundation, this meaningful activity is part of Lenovo's mission to increase access to education and empower disadvantaged communities through global sponsorship and employee engagement.
This support activity by Lenovo aims to improve access to digital education for 220 disadvantaged primary school students aged 6 to 14 through the donation of 15 ThinkCentre Neo 50s computers with ThinkVision S24e-20 monitors, significantly upgrading the computer room of Tan Son Nhi Love School.
These modern, energy-efficient computers will help students develop essential IT skills through intuitive, interactive learning experiences. High-definition displays enhance the educational experience, while the compact design and powerful processing power are ideal for resource-constrained classrooms. Lenovo Vietnam hosted a training session on how to use the network safely to equip students with important digital literacy, as well as an activity and fun session with all students, teachers and staff of the school.
Mr. Nguyen Van Giap, Director of Lenovo Vietnam, shared: “We are proud to contribute to the development of children through technology. Supporting Tan Son Nhi Love School is also one of our commitments to continuously improve the quality of education in Vietnam.”
