On September 28, the funeral of Associate Professor Dang Bich Ha - Wife of General Vo Nguyen Giap - was held at the National Funeral Home (No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi).
Visitation time is from 12:00 to 15:30 on September 28. Memorial service will be held at 15:30 on the same day.
General Secretary and President To Lam sent a wreath to pay respect to Associate Professor Dang Bich Ha.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and many leaders and former leaders of the Party and State sent wreaths to pay their respects to the wife of General Vo Nguyen Giap.
Standing member of the Secretariat Luong Cuong visited Associate Professor Dang Bich Ha.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha offered incense to pay respect to Associate Professor Dang Bich Ha.

A representative of General Vo Nguyen Giap's family said that during her lifetime, Ms. Dang Bich Ha lived a simple life, so when organizing her funeral, the family also held it in a solemn and simple manner. The funeral organizing committee prepared wreaths in advance for visiting delegations and the family did not accept condolences.
The memorial service for Associate Professor Dang Bich Ha will be held at 3:30 p.m. the same day. The burial will be held on the morning of September 29 at Vung Chua - Yen Island, Quang Trach District, Quang Binh Province - where General Vo Nguyen Giap is resting.
Mrs. Dang Bich Ha - Wife of General Vo Nguyen Giap - passed away on September 17, at the age of 96. During her lifetime, she was the spiritual support and solid support of General Vo Nguyen Giap.
As both husband and wife and close friends, General Vo Nguyen Giap and his wife Dang Bich Ha are an example of building a family together, using it as a solid and steady foundation to successfully complete the glorious mission assigned by the Fatherland and the people.
They have four children: Vo Hoa Binh, Vo Hanh Phuc, Vo Dien Bien and Vo Hong Nam.
