With the participation of more than 150 enterprises, more than 1,000 booths and about 10,000 products on display, the Giap Thin Tet Shopping Festival at TavicoHome is an event in the series of TavicoHome Viefurn 365 Fair events taking place at TavicoHome Wood and Furniture World with an exhibition space of more than 20,000m2. Through this Festival, the Organizing Committee hopes to create a playground for businesses to display and introduce products, promote trade connections between businesses and partners and customers at home and abroad. At the same time, contribute to promoting trade activities in Dong Nai province, stimulate consumption at the end of the year and contribute to the sustainable development of the Vietnamese wood industry.
Mr. Vo Quang Ha - Chairman of Tan Vinh Cuu Joint Stock Company (Tavico) said that, in parallel with organizing the year-end event, this is also an opportunity for Tavico to promote the enterprise's wood ecosystem with a variety of wood industries, from round wood products, dried sawn timber or finished product processing.
In addition, Tavico wishes to share and spread the value-creating activities for the community of the enterprise, creating a playground for children through the "Artistic Creativity Corner" from the idea of paintings created from wood or sawdust by children or disabled people, then sold to tourists and visitors. All proceeds from Tavico will be donated to the charity fund of the clinic of the Order of Saint John of God - Bien Hoa.
Coming to the Giap Thin Tet Shopping Festival, customers can also experience delicious cuisine from 3 regions, enjoy Western coffee with friends and relatives, swim, work out at the gym, enjoy the bustling atmosphere of the Christmas season and choose to buy the interior and exterior products that they like.
According to Mr. Vo Van Phi - Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, Dong Nai is currently one of the provinces with the largest wood processing industry in Vietnam, with Dong Nai and Binh Duong provinces alone accounting for 65 - 70% of the total export value of wood products in the country. Wood products manufactured in Dong Nai have been exported to 88 countries and territories, mainly concentrated in the US (64.5%), Japan (12.3%), and South Korea (11.2%).
For a long time, the wood processing industry has contributed significantly to the economic development of Dong Nai province in particular and the Vietnamese economy in general. This industry has also created many job opportunities for local people and attracted many workers from other provinces to work and live in Dong Nai.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Quan - Chairman of Tan Bien Ward People's Committee (Bien Hoa City) shared that organizing the Giap Thin Tet Shopping Festival is a good way of Tavico, turning this place into an attractive destination for wood lovers, a place to display and introduce all products of interior and exterior furniture, handicrafts, household appliances, contributing to promoting commercial activities in Tan Bien Ward and neighboring areas.
Taking place from December 23 to February 4, 2024 at 81 Dieu Xien, Tan Bien Ward, Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province, the event is expected to attract about 10,000 visitors and shoppers. After this time, commercial activities will continue to take place.
