The stone lotus flower festival kicks off a series of the biggest tourism stimulus events of the year in Lao Cai.

(Fatherland) - Taking place from now until December 30 at Sun World Fansipan Legend tourist area with many attractive activities, Fansipan Stone Lotus Festival 2024 is the opening event for the series of the largest tourism stimulus programs of the year in Lao Cai province called "Touch Sa Pa, touch the clouds".

This is the first activity to kick off a series of the biggest tourism stimulus events of the year in Lao Cai province. Accordingly, from October 29 to December 30, more than 130 businesses in Sa Pa will simultaneously launch huge promotional programs of up to 50%, local authorities will coordinate with businesses to organize brilliant cultural and festival events, bringing visitors the most memorable experiences and emotions when coming to Sa Pa in the cloud season.

The Stone Lotus Festival is an event not to be missed for those who love stone lotus flowers and art, promising to bring visitors interesting experiences amidst the beautiful scenery of Sa Pa mountains during the cloudy season.

The Succulent Flower Festival conveys a positive message of recovery and development of Sa Pa after the recent storm No. 3. Succulents are like the people of Sa Pa, with the ability to bloom brilliantly on the dry rocky slopes, symbolizing strong vitality in the midst of hardship. They bring peace to the soul and express the pure beauty of nature.

At the festival, Sun World Fansipan Legend tourist area introduced more than 50 unique species of succulents, each with its own beauty, from the vibrant pink succulents to the sparkling glitter pebble succulents, or the pure snow succulents.

Varieties such as pearl string succulents, orange yellow succulents and cabbage succulents will create an extremely vivid natural picture. In particular, Sa Pa green succulents, butterfly succulents and cherry succulents will intertwine to bring visitors interesting visual experiences.

At the festival entrance, two lotus petals shaped from 2,024 lotus plants of various types are an impressive check-in point, attracting the attention of all visitors. The lotus road is the highlight of the festival, with thousands of colorful lotus plants, welcoming and following visitors to explore Fansipan. In particular, at the Fansipan Cable Car Station, visitors will not be able to take their eyes off the uniquely designed lotus "tower" with 3,143 Sa Pa green lotus plants, symbolizing Fansipan peak - the roof of Indochina.

The festival is not only a place to display the colors of the lotus but also a lively art space with many interesting activities for families and groups of friends traveling together. On the opening day, the art performances on the festival stage brought visitors impressive moments of entertainment, from Northwest dances, to traditional folk dances to modern art performances.

The performances are delicately and skillfully staged, telling visitors the story of the resilient lotus flower in a harsh land, still rising to beautify life, bringing feelings of peace and serenity.

For those who love traditional handicrafts, the program "Making To He" from November 9 to November 15 will be an interesting experience, creating unique works from clay to preserve memories and send to loved ones.

On November 16th, Sun World Fansipan Legend will organize a large-scale lotus painting camp. This will be an inspiring playground for creative souls who want to immerse themselves in nature and express their emotions through each brushstroke.
