Fansipan 2024 Lotus Flower Festival has thousands of colorful plants

From the vibrant pink sedum to the glitter pebble sedum, or the snow sedum..., more than 50 species of sedum typical of Sa Pa are gathered in the Fansipan sedum flower festival 2024.

This is the opening event for the biggest tourism stimulus program of the year in Lao Cai province with the theme "Touch Sa Pa, touch the clouds".

Succulents are known as a flower of the mountains and forests. Fansipan. Flowers easily grow anywhere on this mountain top, whether on rocks or dry gravel.

The cool, fresh air of Fansipan as well as Sa Pa has nurtured the flower buds on the rocks to be plump and full of life.

At the festival, Sun World Fansipan Legend tourist area introduced more than 50 unique species of succulents, each with its own beauty. From pink succulents, glitter pebble succulents to orange-yellow succulents, cabbage succulents… all create a beautiful, strong, and vibrant picture.

In particular, at the Fansipan cable car station, the stone lotus tower is made up of 3,143 Sa Pa green stone lotus trees, symbolizing Fansipan peak, attracting many international tourists to check-in.

The festival is not only a place to display the colors of the lotus but also a vibrant art space with many interesting activities for families and groups of friends traveling together.

The stone lotus flower festival is not only an opportunity to admire the flowers on the rocks of Fansipan but also a time for us to slow down and heal amidst the poetic and majestic scenery of Sa Pa.

Besides, visitors can also visit May village, which preserves the culture of ethnic groups in Sa Pa with traditional houses and the way of recreating the daily life of the people.

During the year-end, more than 130 accommodation, restaurant and tourism service businesses in Sa Pa launched a series of preferential policies of up to 50% to attract tourists to Sa Pa.

For Sun World Fansipan Legend Tourist Area, the entire round-trip cable car fare to Fansipan is only 550,000 VND/ticket for Vietnamese tourists, equivalent to a discount of more than 30% compared to the original cable car fare for adults. The promotion program is applied from now until December 30, 2024.
