The French Food Festival - Balade en France 2024 will return to Vietnam from April 5-7 at Thong Nhat Park, Hanoi with the number of booths one and a half times higher than last year.
This event is organized by the French Embassy in Vietnam in coordination with the Hanoi People's Committee. The festival will promote French cuisine and the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics.

At this year's festival, Hanoians and visitors will once again experience a real French market.
Nearly 80 booths of French agricultural and food specialties will be on display at the festival, along with tastings and chef demonstrations right at the booths.
Speaking at a press conference on March 27, French Ambassador to Vietnam Olivier Brochet said: “It seems that Vietnamese and French people both enjoy delicious food. That is the theme we want to emphasize in this event.”
Mr. Olivier Brochet also affirmed that this event not only introduces French cuisine but is also a good friendly exchange activity between France and Vietnam.

In particular, a Sports Village was organized for the first time within the framework of the festival to promote the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games. This is where the whole family can try their hand at a number of sports such as golf, archery, basketball...
With the slogan “The Taste of Cuisine, The Colors of Sports”, the French Embassy in Vietnam wishes to encourage healthy habits through quality food choices and sports activities.
Parallel to the event are two nights of performances by many famous artists from France and Vietnam, along with a Breaking Dance competition with explosive freestyle style for many dancers in the capital to participate.
The official opening ceremony will take place on Friday evening, April 5, at 7:00 p.m. The festival will be open to visitors from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, and from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 7.
