Ly Hai's 'Flip Side 7' surpasses 100 billion VND mark after 3 days of release

Lat mat 7: Mot uoc is the next part in the Lat mat series branded by Ly Hai. After more than 3 days of showing, this work is still dominating the Vietnamese box office.

According to statistics from Box Office Vietnam , as of the morning of April 29, the film has surpassed the revenue mark of more than 100 billion VND.

"Flip Side 7: A Wish" reaches 100 billion VND.

With this achievement, Lat Mat 7 also broke the record to become the film in the Lat Mat series to reach 100 billion VND fastest by Ly Hai.

Previously, Lat Mat 7 became the Vietnamese film with the highest number of pre-sold tickets in the first 6 days of all time with more than 105,000 tickets sold. On the first day of screening, the film reached the 30 billion VND mark.

Currently, Lat Mat 7 has more than 4,300 screenings per day with a high occupancy rate. The film is also expected to continue to set new records when the 5-day April 30 and May 1 holiday ends.

Ly Hai continues to have another hundred billion dong project.

Ly Hai is popular with the audience with action movies. However, after 6 movies, Ly Hai decided to switch to family topics through Lat mat 7: Mot uoc.

Speaking about this, Ly Hai said that the inspiration for him to make this film was because of his children. The male director wanted to create a work that his 4 children could go to the cinema to watch without any age restrictions.

As with previous projects, director Ly Hai and his wife - producer Minh Ha continue to invest heavily in this film. The film was filmed in different locations from the South to the North such as Ho Chi Minh City, Ninh Thuan, Hanoi, Lam Dong... Among them, the most invested scene that Ly Hai shared was at My Tan fishing port, Ninh Thuan.

The director was challenged by the scene of a devastated fishing village after the storm. Ly Hai spent a lot of money to rent 100 boats for many days, and more than a thousand extras to portray life at the fishing port.

Lat mat 7 also brings together nearly 50 actors, of which the main and secondary faces include 17 people - the most in a Ly Hai film so far.

Ly Hai once confided that no one wants to lose money when making a film, but for him, he just wants to break even. "I don't set a goal for the new part to surpass the revenue of previous films. I believe that as long as there is a good script, trying to learn from previous parts, the audience will see the efforts, progress, and more thoroughness, then they will definitely support," he said.

Ly Hai and the cast have been continuously promoting the film since its release.

Flip Side 7: A Wish focuses on the daily life of a multi-generational family, including grandparents, children, in-laws, and grandchildren. The main characters of the film are father Hai (artist Thanh Hien) and his five children including Hai Khon (Truong Minh Cuong), Ba Lanh (Dinh Y Nhung), Tu Hau (Quach Ngoc Tuyen), Nam Thao (Tram Anh) and Sau Tam (Tran Kim Hai).

One time, Mrs. Hai unfortunately met with an accident. At that time, the five children each had their own worries and chose one person to take care of their mother. From here, the problems were revealed with many stories in each family.
