Khuat Van Khang spoke modestly after scoring a super goal to help U23 Vietnam defeat U23 Malaysia.

Speaking after the victory over U23 Malaysia, midfielder Khuat Van Khang said: "I feel very happy to have contributed a small part to help U23 Vietnam put one foot in the quarter-finals of the Asian tournament."

Khuat Van Khang's "small contribution" goal was a beautiful free kick at a difficult distance and angle. The midfielder's left-footed shot aimed at the far corner made the U23 Malaysia goalkeeper jump as far as he could but still could not block it.

Returning to the match against U23 Malaysia, U23 Vietnam played somewhat erratically in the first half. However, the white-shirted boys still found the opening goal thanks to Khuat Van Khang's superb free kick in the 39th minute.
