For the past week, all 67 preschool students of Nam Det village, Nam Det commune, Bac Ha district, Lao Cai province have been temporarily transferred to study at the Nam Cai village cultural house. To organize teaching, teachers have to divide students into 2 classes, in cramped conditions, lacking equipment and playgrounds. However, both teachers and students are trying to overcome this, because when the village's preschool is at high risk of landslides, this is the optimal solution to ensure safety.

After the flood, the hill behind Nan San Secondary School, Nan San Commune, Si Ma Cai District, appeared to have landslides and long cracks, posing a safety risk. All 243 students were moved to study at the commune's Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities.

Teacher Nguyen Duc Luu, the school's principal, said: "Since the storm, we have stopped studying for the first week to move according to instructions and have had no classes due to moving to a new school location.
