Accordingly, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh will chair a dialogue conference with businesses, to provide information on the operating situation and solutions to remove difficulties for businesses investing and operating in this field.
Specifically, the conference will be held in one morning at the City People's Committee headquarters, with 150 delegates expected to attend.
The conference will have 2 parts. Part 1: Report on the socio-economic situation, investment activities in the cultural and social fields of Hanoi; results of implementing support policies of the Central and the City for enterprises investing and operating in the cultural and social fields.
Along with that are some orientations in attracting investment of the city (focusing on high-quality education, cultural industry, high-tech healthcare to serve the needs, developing culture associated with sustainable tourism); difficulties and problems and recommendations of the city to the Central Government, ministries, branches and enterprises.
Part 2: Dialogue with businesses (main content): businesses raise difficulties, obstacles, and recommendations to the City to promote investment and business activities, and promote business development (each industry, field of health, education, vocational training, culture, and sports selects 3-5 businesses to speak directly; other participating businesses forward questions on the ballot to the Organizing Committee).
City leaders and departments, branches and localities discussed and answered recommendations and difficulties of investment enterprises, invested in the fields and branches in charge and gave speeches.
Organizing the dialogue conference also demonstrates the role of the city government in supporting, facilitating, and accompanying businesses to build the most favorable investment and business environment for business development.
The City People's Committee requires that the organization of the dialogue must ensure substance and effectiveness, creating favorable conditions for business owners to participate in expressing opinions and raising difficulties and obstacles in the process of operation.
Based on assigned functions and tasks, relevant departments, branches and units respond to recommendations on difficulties and problems of enterprises at the conference or after the conference; regularly and promptly support enterprises to completely resolve difficulties and problems or advise the City People's Committee to propose to competent authorities to resolve them.
The dialogue conference with enterprises investing and operating in the cultural and social fields in Hanoi to remove difficulties and obstacles for enterprises in the cultural and social fields is an important content in the direction and operation of the Hanoi People's Committee in 2024.
