Also participating in the delegation were Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Huynh Thi Thuy Dung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Cong Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu, and Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Le Thai Binh.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet congratulated the Buddha's birthday; highly appreciated and welcomed the spirit of Buddhism accompanying the nation, the spirit of "socialist national religion" among dignitaries, monks, nuns, and Buddhists in Quang Nam.
Through Buddhist activities, Buddhist dignitaries and monks have encouraged, guided and mobilized compatriots, Buddhists and followers of Buddhism to support the policies of the Party and State, actively participate in humanitarian and charitable activities, helping the province have more conditions to fulfill the tasks of socio-economic development and ensure national defense and security.
The Provincial Party Secretary thanked the Venerables and leaders of the Provincial Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha for their support, and hoped that in the coming time, Quang Nam Buddhism would continue to accompany the development of the province; continue to work with the political system, the Party and the State to care for the lives of the people in general and the lives of Buddhist families in particular.
Most Venerable Thich Phuoc Minh - Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Quang Nam province thanked the leaders of Quang Nam province for their concern and congratulations, and emphasized the spirit of Buddhism always accompanying the nation from the period of resistance to peace. Most Venerable Thich Phuoc Minh said that the Executive Committee and Buddhist dignitaries will try their best to contribute to the development of the province.
