Provincial leaders inspect preparations for the OCOP Fair in the Northeast region - Quang Ninh 2024

On August 29, Mr. Nghiem Xuan Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the preparations for the opening of the OCOP Fair in the Northeast region - Quang Ninh.

This fair continues to attract the participation of many provinces and cities across the country.

The 2024 Northeast OCOP Fair - Quang Ninh will take place from August 29 to September 3 at the Provincial Planning, Fair and Exhibition Palace with 257 booths. Along with OCOP products and agricultural products in the province, the fair also has the participation of many provinces and cities across the country to promote, introduce and consume typical and typical agricultural products. Up to now, the units have basically completed the arrangement and display of products at the booths. The highlight of this Fair is that Quang Ninh OCOP products are not only sold directly at the Fair but also promoted and sold online through the tiktok platform.

After inspecting the preparations for the Fair, Mr. Nghiem Xuan Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, requested the Organizing Committee to quickly complete the remaining tasks, review the script to ensure the program content is well prepared for the opening ceremony taking place at 5:00 p.m. this afternoon. At the same time, arrange regular staff on duty, pay attention to the arrangement of booths. Along with that, coordinate with functional units to regularly check the quality of goods, strictly handle organizations, units, and acts of violating the quality of products displayed at the Fair according to regulations; strengthen security and order, fire prevention, environmental sanitation, and food safety.
