According to information from the People's Committee of Din Chin commune, at 20:05 on July 11, 2024, the People's Committee of the commune received information from the people about 3 children going fishing in Ngai Thau village, Din Chin commune, then going into the pond to swim and drowning. The victims' identities include: TCC (born in 2015), TCH (born in 2019) and TMH (born in 2016), all residing in Din Chin village, Din Chin commune.
After receiving the information, the leaders of Muong Khuong district visited, encouraged, and expressed condolences to the families of the victims and provided support to the families according to regulations. At the same time, the leaders of Muong Khuong district requested the local government to continue to promote propaganda work and strengthen solutions to prevent drowning and injuries to children. Families and parents need to pay more attention to their children to prevent similar heartbreaking incidents from happening.
