Early in the morning of July 17, the delegation of the Vietnam Journalists Association led by comrade Le Quoc Minh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association, together with representatives of departments and organizations of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee, representatives of the Anh Son District Party Committee and People's Committee, came to offer flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and heroic martyrs at the Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery.

In 1982, our Party and State decided to bring all the remains of martyrs who died in Laos back to Vietnam and gather them at the Vietnam-Laos Martyrs Cemetery. This special cemetery is the resting place of 10,804 Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who fought and died in Laos.

The war has long since ended, and the Vietnamese and Lao peoples are working together to build and develop the country and integrate into the world. This special cemetery has always been renovated and has become a place for relatives of martyrs and people across the country to visit and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs. Every year, the Cemetery Management Board welcomes tens of thousands of visitors and people to burn incense and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed heroically for both nations.

In a solemn and emotional atmosphere, Comrade Le Quoc Minh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association and the working delegation respectfully offered incense and flowers at the temple of President Ho Chi Minh; laid wreaths and offered incense at the Monument to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of both Vietnam and Laos.

Comrade Le Quoc Minh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association offered incense to express gratitude and the great sacrifice of the heroic martyrs at the Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery.

Expressing deep gratitude for the dedication and sacrifice of the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the noble cause of national and international liberation, comrade Le Quoc Minh and the members of the delegation promised to make every effort to contribute to building the homeland to become increasingly prosperous, hoping that the souls of the martyrs will bless the nation with peace and prosperity, and the country will develop more and more.

Representatives of the leaders of departments, units and organizations under the Central Office of the Vietnam Journalists Association burn incense on each martyr's grave after the incense offering ceremony at the Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery.

Next, the delegation of the Vietnam Journalists Association together with representatives of departments, organizations of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee, representatives of the Nghi Loc District Party Committee and People's Committee came to offer flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and heroic martyrs at the Nghi Loc District Martyrs Cemetery.

The delegation offered fresh flower baskets to commemorate and remember the heroes and martyrs at Nghi Loc District Martyrs Cemetery.

Nghi Loc District Martyrs Cemetery is located in Hamlet 4, Nghi Thinh Commune. This is the resting place of 1,624 martyrs, including 756 martyrs who were Vietnamese volunteers and experts - the nation's outstanding sons, who fought bravely and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the noble international duty in Laos.

Comrade Nguyen Duc Loi - Permanent Vice President of Vietnam Journalists Association rang the bell to commemorate the heroic martyrs.

In the sacred atmosphere, the leaders of the Vietnam Journalists Association and the delegation respectfully bowed and offered fresh flowers to the souls of the heroic martyrs, lit incense sticks to express their deep remembrance, gratitude and honor to the beloved sons of the nation who heroically sacrificed their blood for the cause of national liberation and noble international duty.

Permanent Vice President of Vietnam Journalists Association Nguyen Duc Loi offered incense to commemorate martyrs at Nghi Loc District Martyrs Cemetery.

The delegates pledged to continue promoting the nation's traditions, strive to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style and the brave fighting spirit of the heroic martyrs, contributing to building the homeland and country to become increasingly rich and civilized.

During the nation's long resistance wars, along with the whole country, Nghe An had tens of thousands of outstanding children joining the army, youth volunteers, and frontline laborers across the battlefields. Nghe An is one of the three provinces in the country with the largest number of families of people with meritorious services to the revolution, relatives of martyrs, and war invalids, with 65,147 families of people with meritorious services, including about 29,619 war invalids and people enjoying policies like war invalids, 9,051 sick soldiers and about 13,000 people infected with Agent Orange.

The whole province has more than 45,000 martyrs who heroically sacrificed; more than 56,000 wounded and sick soldiers left part of their blood and bones on the battlefield.
