On the morning of November 12, a leader of the Environmental Protection Department (under the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Thanh Hoa province) said that this unit has completed the documents to recognize the auction winner of the blue-plate Land Rover with license plate 36A-1771, manufactured in 2008, with a price of 3 billion VND.

According to this leader, the unit was quite surprised that the car had been used for many years but someone still offered such a high price.

"At first, I thought the car would only fetch a few hundred million VND even if it was bid high. At the end of the auction, someone offered up to 3 billion VND, which was too surprising. We don't know if the winning bidder paid the full amount, we have to wait until the end of the 5th day to know the result," the leader added.
