The signing ceremony for pedagogical internship for students in Thanh An island commune took place on the morning of February 24 between the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Student Association, Can Gio District People's Committee and Ho Chi Minh City University of Education.

Worried to the point of insomnia, will try to make an impression

As the only male student in the group, Cung Thien Bao (primary education major) said this was his first time in Thanh An. Because he was so nervous, Bao almost stayed up all night last night.

Bao said he was not afraid of the shortage of resources or the hard work at the place he was going to intern at. His concern stemmed from the desire to have enough space and time to create the most interesting and effective lessons.

"But I will try to make an impression and leave the most impression on the students and people here," Thien Bao smiled.

After 4 years of honing her knowledge and teaching skills, doing internships, and tutoring, Nguyen Ngoc Diem Tuyen (primary education major) has become quite mature. Before returning to Thanh An, she said she was very excited but also quite worried.

Tuyen said she "prepared a lot of luggage" for this special internship, with programs, experiential activities, curriculum and advanced teaching methods.

Tuyen worries about the short internship period, fearing that students will not have time to get used to the learning methods and experiential activities Tuyen designed for the internship.

"I hope and also expect that I will bring a new breeze in teaching and learning methods to students here," Tuyen expressed.

Nurturing green seeds of love and connection

Ms. Tran Thu Ha - Deputy Secretary of the City Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Student Association of Ho Chi Minh City - called this teaching internship an extremely meaningful activity.

Because Thanh An is the only island commune of Ho Chi Minh City, schools still have certain difficulties in finding teachers who meet the requirements and tasks of education and training.

In particular, the team was created not only from the school's plan but also based on the agreement signed by the Ho Chi Minh City Student Association and the school with the People's Committee of Can Gio district.

"This is a valuable opportunity. I hope you will take advantage of it to participate in activities with other members of the Youth Union and young people, connecting with the people. From there, you can sow the green seeds of love in your own hearts," said Ms. Ha.

Speaking about this internship team, Professor Huynh Van Son - the school's principal - said that in addition to 10 interns, there will be two lecturers accompanying them. They are lecturers and faculty leaders who are very dedicated to practical education.

"I hope that the students will have a happy working day, accumulate values ​​of humanity and determination to develop Can Gio.

Surely you will change not only your perception but also your attitude and ability in this journey of making words come alive," said Mr. Son.

Lecturer Nguyen Viet Khoa (Faculty of Primary Education) is the head of the delegation in charge of providing professional and technical support to interns at Thanh An Primary School.

Lecturer Pham Phuoc Manh (Preschool Education Department) is in charge of providing professional and technical support to interns at Thanh An Kindergarten.

Primary education interns include: Thien Bao, Minh Hau, Anh Nguyet, Nhu Quynh, Cam Quynh, Phuong Trinh and Diem Tuyen.

There are 3 preschool education interns: Thuy Diem, Bich Tram and Diem Quynh.
